Microsoft has recently rolled out a completely new design for the official Office blog that comes in line with the company’s modern approach rolled out together with Windows 8.

The new blog was designed to be easier to browse and find posts more relevant to users a bit faster, the company said in a post.

“The new design helps you quickly find the information you want, easily read and navigate on all your devices, and provides better sharing and commenting so you can join the conversation. There’s a world of useful information here, and it’s continually growing to help you increase your productivity and expand your enjoyment of Office,” Microsoft noted.

Unfortunately for the software giant, only a few hours after it rolled out the new design, the blogs got hacked by the Syrian Electronic Army who managed to break into the administration panel and modify a couple of posts.

The company has already removed hackers’ posts, but more cyber-attacks could follow any time soon.
