Microsoft has announced its lineup of games that will be playable at this year's edition of the Tokyo Game Show, running from September 18 through September 21.

The company has revealed that its booth will include 22 playable Xbox One games, and one single Xbox 360 title, due to the fact that its marketing efforts are geared toward making the latest hardware more attractive to Japanese consumers.

Xbox One & Xbox 360 games

Microsoft has disclosed that Dance Central Spotlight, Dead Rising 3, D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die, EA SPORTS UFC, Evolve, FIFA 15, Forza Horizon 2, Forza Motorsport 5, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Happy Wars, Killer Instinct, Kinect Sports Rivals, Minecraft: Xbox One Edition, NBA 2K15, Ori and the Blind Forest, Psycho-Pass: Happiness Without Choice, Ryse: Son of Rome, Sunset Overdrive, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, The Evil Within, Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires and Titanfall will be playable at its booth.

In addition to this, the upcoming Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will also be playable on the show floor, on the Xbox 360 computer entertainment system.

All the listed games are publicly available for attendees of the Tokyo Game Show, and they include some local flavor titles that Microsoft hopes will get more gamers from the Land of the Rising Sun interested in the Xbox One.

VIP passes

Attendees who purchased an Xbox One home console in Japan since the device was officially launched on September 4 will be able to gain a special pass that will secure them fast pass access to Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Forza Horizon 2 and Sunset Overdrive.

Microsoft has announced that the fast pass token will only be distributed to the first 500 attendees who go to the information counter and present proof of purchasing the console, so if you're eligible and attending, make sure to act fast.

The sad part about the list, however, is that some of the announced titles that cater specifically to the Japanese audience won't be available, including Platinum Games' Scalebound, which was confirmed to be well on its way, and playable internally.

In addition to this, Microsoft's Phantom Dust and 5pb's Chaos;Child, two additional games that hold potentially great appeal in the Japanese market, are also surprisingly missing from the listed line-up.

Microsoft is most likely planning to make some sort of surprise announcements at TGS, as Xbox division head Phil Spencer teased a while back, so we're likely to see much more than the listed titles.

Considering the fact that we still don't know anything regarding Scalebound and Phantom Dust's actual gameplay, expect some exciting reveals to drop on September 18.
