The company says that it’s working on a workaround as we speak

Just as we told you not long ago, one of the updates released by Microsoft a few days ago on Patch Tuesday breaks down Windows 7 computers and automatically restarts them, leaving users with basically no simple option to access the operating system.

Microsoft has already advised users to boot into Safe Mode and remove the KB2823324 completely to get into Windows 7, but it appears that the company has blocked the update from being distributed to more computers.

The company is working on a fix as we speak, so its decision to stop delivering the buggy update to new computers pretty much makes sense, especially because we’ve heard that quite a lot of people are affected.

In addition, an incompatibility with Kaspersky software might be partly at fault for the bug. For more information, check out this article. Details on how to remove the updates are available here.
