The "Hyundai Genesis Coupe Car Pack" will feature three new cars

Just three weeks have passed since Forza 3 was released, but it already seems like that was years ago. The racing sim was completely outshone by recent releases such as Borderlands, Dragon Age: Origins, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Assassin's Creed 2. But Microsoft hasn't forgotten about its game just yet and has prepared a free DLC for the title to bring it back into the spotlight.

Fans will be happy to hear that the downloadable content is absolutely free and will contain three new cars. The "Hyundai Genesis Coupe Car Pack," as it's entitled, will feature the HKS Genesis Coupe, the Rhys Millen Racing Red Bull Hyundai Genesis Coupe and a special Forza 3 edition Genesis Coupe.

More tarmac devourers will arrive on December 8, but, this time around, the DLC won't be free anymore. The Xbox Live Marketplace will host the "Hot Holidays Car Pack" for a mere 400 Microsoft Points or $5. The pack will contain at least ten new cars, which will include the recently unveiled Ferrari 458 Italia. To get the sales rolling, a free 2010 Audi S4 will be offered alongside the pack. But this is the holiday season, so the free gifts won't stop here. The catch is that, even though they don't cost anything, you will have to work a little to get these special treats.

For the next two weeks, ForzaMotorsport.net will host a daily trivia contest where gamers everywhere can try to guess the rest of the speed devils that will be part of the "Hot Holidays Car Pack" DLC. The lucky winners will be able to pick both in-game rewards and real-life ones, and, even if the chances that these real-life prizes will contain an actual car aren't straying at all from slim-to-nothing, you should check the site every day to have your chance at the Forza 3 winnings.
