14 DAY TRIAL // The first Community Technology Preview (CTP) of Visual Studio 2012 Update 2 (VS2012.2) has been made available for download this week, one of the last steps that Microsoft is taking towards making the next flavor of VS available.
The new Update 2 will bring along a variety of enhancements, it seems, though the CTP does not include all of them, Microsoft says.
Furthermore, the company notes that the new release was meant for evaluation purposes only, and that it will be followed by a pre-release flavor of Update 2 soon.
Some of the changes in the new Update 2 include work item tags, the option to send a work item as an email, Test Hub in Team Web Access, test process customization, group unit tests by class, Fakes & Stubs in VS Premium, Windows Phone app unit testing, and more.
