The company has just rolled out the second patch for its Pro tablet

Microsoft has recently rolled out a new software update for the Surface Pro tablet, but no important bug fixes were included.

While the company is still expected to roll out major bug fixes and performance enhancements on April's Patch Tuesday cycle, this new update is only supposed to improve SSD performance during boot, according to a post on the Microsoft community forums.

Basically, your Surface Pro tablet should boot a bit faster after deploying the update, but given the fact that owners rarely restart their devices, many users might find the improvements a waste of time.

In the meantime, the Redmond-based technology giant is still struggling to develop a fix for the Wi-Fi connectivity bug that's also affecting RT tablets. Microsoft has recently promised to continue releasing updates for both Pro and RT models, hinting that bug fixes, performance and stability improvements are very likely to see daylight in the coming months.
