iPhone and iPad users are downright furious with the Redmond company

Redmond, WA-based Microsoft Corporation, through its acquired Skype Communications S.a.r.l division, has released an updated version of the video chatting client used by millions worldwide in hopes of alleviating issues experienced by iPhone and iPad customers.

Just glancing over the reviews up on iTunes will be enough to tell you that Microsoft messed up big time with its latest update yet again, causing even more frustration in the iOS ranks, where some customers were in dying need of fixes.

Not only are some well-known bugs still there, it appears that Microsoft has another round of flaws to deal with again. Customers are complaining about the sound being too loud or too low, long connectivity time (or failed connections in a constant manner), etc.

I’d normally encourage you to always grab the latest version of every piece of software, but seeing how the Windows makers are rolling out one troublesome update after another, I’ll just leave that decision to you.

To Microsoft’s credit, some of the newer features seem to be doing wonders for users who aren’t experiencing any issues, such as the ability to receive chat messages even when the app is closed, synced messages across devices, etc.
