Microsoft released the Service Pack for Office 2003; this is in fact, the collection of all the updates launched up until now for this suite.
This collection, whose size varies between 50 and 100 MB, includes Service Pack 1, but also new features like Phishing Protection, a function specifically designed for Outlook. Its role is to filter the suspicious messages, which are sent by phishers
to obtain the user's personal data.
Microsoft announced that Service Pack 2 includes stability improvements, based on the analysis of the messages received via the Online Crash Analysis tool.
Office 2003 Service Pack 2 integrates three security bulletins which patch Windows flaws and nine patches for specific MS Office security issues.
Aside from the security problems, the SP2 update solves a series of bugs from Access, Excel, FrontPage, PowerPoint, Publisher and Word.
The Service Pack is available at this
