The Windows world “celebrated” Patch Tuesday earlier this month, but Microsoft keeps rolling out updates for computers powered by its operating system, and today a total of 13 different patches have received the go-ahead to land on our PCs.

The good news is that all these updates are being offered as optional, so you won’t have to install them if you don’t really need to, and all bring non-security fixes, which means that they’re supposed to fix bugs and improve performance across the operating system.

Most of the updates are aimed at Windows 8.1, Windows RT 8.1, and Windows Server 2012 R2, but there’s also one patch developed for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2. According to their descriptions, all are created “to resolve issues in Windows.”

The full list

Here are all updates released by Microsoft today, along with their KB names and the operating system version they are designed for:

In the meantime, more users are waiting for fixes for botched updates that were rolled out on Patch Tuesday, but it turns out that Microsoft needs more time to address them.

Keep in mind that today’s updates are all optional, but so far we haven’t heard of any patch that might be causing issues on your PC. We’re keeping an eye on reports out there and we’ll let you know as soon as we come across a bug in these updates.
