Just as announced several days back, Microsoft’s Antimalware Engine 1.1.8304.0 has been made available on April 18th, 2012.

Fresh out of the Redmond-based software giant’s laboratories, the new release was pushed to all of the company’s Microsoft Security Essentials customers.

Additionally, the new AntiMalware Engine 1.1.8304.0 was delivered to all Forefront Client Security, Forefront Endpoint Protection, and Windows Intune Endpoint Protection customers.

“Signature package 1.125.0.0 is the first that contains this engine,” the software company also said on the new release.

The new engine iteration was made available as part of Microsoft’s traditional monthly updates for the technology and follows the Antimalware Engine 1.1.8202.0 that came out on March 20th.

The software was designed to enable increased reliability and security of various products and was meant to address the latest threats discovered out there.
