Microsoft Corporation is out with a new version of its (not-so-hot) search engine, Bing, for mobile platforms. Having already been available on iPhone and iPod touch, a native iPad version was required. And today, it’s here.

Microsoft is proud to release its iPad-native version of Bing iOS, delivering full support for all Apple tablet devices (including the diminutive iPad mini), complete with Retina visuals.

Any type of content you search for, whether it’s more iPad stuff or images of the new Microsoft Surface Pro, will show crystal clear on iPads with Retina pixels.

What else is new in version 1.2, you ask? According to the Redmond giant, “stability and performance improvements,” as well as the usual bag of fixes to make the app more reliable.

Download the iPad-native Bing at the link below. This one doesn’t work on 3.5-inch screens, and requires a minimum iOS 4.2 to run.
