One of the buildings in the Microsoft campus was evacuated yesterday after a mysterious liquid was seen leaking out of a mail package.

A Microsoft employee spotted the liquid and alerted the police, with emergency personnel taking the decision to evacuate the whole Building 123 for security reasons.

While fire crews and police officers arrived at the Redmond campus, southbound and northbound lanes of 150th Avenue NE were closed in the 4300 and 4100 block, respectively, Komonews.com writes.

It turned out however that it was all caused by a broken snow globe containing water and glycerin, so all Microsoft employees were allowed to get back in the building and get ready for the Windows 8 and Surface launch that would take place next week.
