Microsoft completely redesigned the Windows Store in Windows 8.1, but the browser-based version has been mostly unchanged. Until today, that is.

The company has just released a completely new look of the browser-based Windows Store that pretty much reminds of the one available in 8.1.

The new design embraces the Modern design style and brings app details in the spotlight, including license type, published, category, approximate size, and age rating.

In addition, the Windows Store now displays other apps belonging to the same developer, while also providing access to six different related tools.

The same screen comprises information such as notes, supported processors, system requirements, accessibility, and language details, while all screenshots are now displayed underneath the main one shown once you load a program page.
