Topics such as Hyper-V, System Center and Private Cloud are among those covered by the content on PaperShare, but resources are also available on a number of additional technologies.

The software giant has created the “Windows Server Virtualization and Private Cloud” group on the site, and is inviting IT pros to explore it.

“We’ve been aggregating content like whitepapers, case studies, blogs, and videos, from across Microsoft to populate the group with,” a member of the Microsoft Server and Cloud platform team stated.

“The information includes content about current and future Microsoft offerings on topics such as virtualization, Private Cloud, Windows Server, Hyper-V, System Center, and other related topics. Because it’s a social content network, you’ll also get to connect with other like-minded people interested in the same content.”

Of course, social networking is an important component of the new initiative, as are the sharing capabilities available.

The promise from the Redmond company is that the content offered through the site will be updated constantly, on both existing products, as well as future technologies.

Microsoft will also host two Q&A sessions on PaperShare, offering customers the possibility of gain insight into Windows Server, Virtualization and Private Cloud.

“During these 24 hour periods on November 16th and 22nd, we’ll be actively monitoring the “Discussions” tab in the Windows Server Virtualization and Private Cloud group on PaperShare for your questions,” the company said.

“On November 16th, Rohit Rahi from Microsoft will be answering your business value related questions on the topic. On November 22nd, Matt McSpirit will address your technically oriented questions on the topic. We hope you can join us to ask your questions or just check in on the conversation.”
