Just in time for the holiday season, Microsoft is getting ready to take the fall 2008 adCenter upgrade out of the oven. adCenter customers are right on track to receiving a new set of features, which the Redmond giant revealed as the result of their feedback. This is a clear indication that Microsoft is indeed listening to adCenter users, and that the service's evolution is being tailored to their needs. According to Carolyn Miller, Microsoft Program Manager, this strategy is not a new approach as far as adCenter is concerned.

“We’ve been listening to your feedback, requests, and great ideas for new features in adCenter, and throughout this year we’ve made significant progress in several key areas,” Miller stated. “For example, we’ve expanded your billing and payment options, simplified your campaign management experience, improved the way you create and analyze reports, and updated your keyword research capabilities.”

Miller explained that all the improvements already introduced to adCenter are the direct result of customer input. At the same time, Microsoft is ready to move forward with adCenter, and this is where the next upgrade comes into play.

“With the Fall Upgrade, we are happy to give you more. Here’s a sneak peek into some of the improvements we are making this fall to… Give you more control and flexibility to manage the delivery of your ads and keywords. Provide you with clearer, more accessible editorial information to help improve your productivity. Help you boost the performance of your Content Ads (note: U.S. customers only),” Miller added.

The features enumerated by Miller are nothing more than a taste. As the Redmond giant will get closer to finalizing the upgrade, additional features will be made public. Miller pointed existing customers to the Microsoft adCenter Beta & Pilot Interest Program as a source of information related to the development of the service.
