Maybe we should let it blow up

If you are an Xbox 360 owner, you know for sure that it has some overheating issues. A Japanese company thought of addressing this issue and came out with a cooler for the 360.

The embedded company is called Nyko, and it has released on the British market an intercooler for Microsoft's games console. They had quite an impact on the market and managed to sell an impressive number of units. This device presumably prevents your console from overheating. But nobody knows at what costs.

Microsoft, the company that produced the Xbox 360 and also the company responsible for any mishap of the console is quite suspicious of the device. Whenever they receive a call on their customer service line about a broken console, thy first ask the question if a Nyko intercooler has been installed on it.

According to representatives, the intercooler drains too much juice from the 360, as the console was not developed to power an extra device. You would think this is no brainer, and that those who purchased the intercooler would know what they are putting on the line by installing it. Actually they don't, and maybe they should pay attention to the next paragraph.

The Xbox is designed as a whole, and a certain amount of power is needed for it to run smoothly. If you add an extra device, some of the juice will go to powering that device, keeping power away from other vital components. Therefore, those components might break down. Then you call Microsoft and complain. Is it really their fault?
