Microsoft is reportedly working on Windows Blue, the first major Windows 8 makeover, but the company still remains completely tight-lipped on everything related to this particular project.

Some new job listings posted on the Microsoft Careers website on February 15 confirmed that the Redmondians are looking for new software engineers to work on Windows Blue, but the company moved pretty quickly and removed all ads as soon as the media started reporting about them.

The job openings are unavailable for the time being but, according to the initial announcement, Windows Blue is projected to bring several improvements to Windows 8, including major UI changes.

The Start Screen will live on in Windows Blue despite users’ desperate call for Microsoft to reintroduce the Start button, but it’ll come with plenty of new customization options.
