The company continues to advertise some Windows 8 apps

Apps are essential for tech giant Microsoft, especially because they are holding a key role for Windows 8’s success, the company uses every single occasion to talk about Metro tools.

This time, the tech giant is advertising some programs that can come in handy while travelling, all of which are offered with a free license.

Netflix, Destination Manager, FlightAware, and StreetEats are all available in the Store, so you can always give it a try by simply launching clicking the install button.

At this point, there are approximately 75,000 Metro apps in the Store, but the company expects the number to grow bigger even more.

At the same time, Microsoft continues its efforts to get closer to developers, so it’s holding several campaigns across the world to show the benefits of creating Windows 8 apps.
