Windows 10 for Phones is the next mobile operating system coming from Microsoft, and if we are to take into consideration the latest statements coming from the Redmond-based company, it will probably be released later this summer.

Until then, Microsoft will be testing the new operating system by offering Windows Insiders technical preview builds of Windows 10 for Phones. The first technical preview build was released back in February, while the second has been released this month.

Two Windows 10 for Phones Technical Preview builds in three months could be considered too small a number by some fans who are expecting to get new features and improvements at least once a month.

Many consumers asked Microsoft to release technical preview builds more frequently, and it looks like the Redmond has listened to their feedback.

Windows Insiders are promised preview builds more frequently

The company recently sent an email to all Windows Insiders, which contains Microsoft's future plans regarding Windows 10 for Phones Technical Preview, WMPoweruser reports.

In the email, Microsoft states that it will release preview builds more frequently, so users can test new features and improvements more often than not.

“Based on your feedback, we’re going to send out builds more frequently to Windows Insiders that have selected 'Fast' preview builds. That means you can getting fresher code with all of the features and fixes, more often – but builds may include more bugs.”

So, as long as you have your updates set to “Fast circle,” you should receive Windows 10 for Phones Technical Preview builds more frequently.

Unfortunately, there's no telling how often Microsoft will release these preview builds, but we hope there will be at least monthly updates.

Among the new features that Microsoft promises to add to Windows 10 for Phones is Insider Hub, which will allow users to get the latest info on Windows 10.
