In case you’ve been living under a rock for the past twelve months or so, Microsoft decided to rebrand the logo of the company and of several key products, including Windows and Office.

But it seems that Steve Ballmer has even more plans in mind, as Microsoft is reportedly preparing a major image rebranding, this time with some lengthy clips.

Stephen Chapman of MSFTKitchen came across an online profile of a new Microsoft content writer, apparently hired by the Redmond-based software giant to support the rebranding process. According to the information posted on the Internet, Microsoft is working on three 60-second sports to “re-brand its image.”

While we can’t tell for sure how exactly Microsoft is planning to work on its image, these lengthy commercials are a sign that the firm is ready to spend a fortune on this strategy.

The first thing that comes to our minds is Steve Ballmer’s statement pointing to Microsoft’s new vision, as the famous Windows maker is struggling to migrate from the concept of a software company to a devices and services approach that would better represent the wide range of products it currently sells.
