Microsoft's Surface Pro 3 will go on sale at retailers on June 20, so the software giant is now trying to make sure that consumers will be there to try out the new device by announcing a series of shows and concerts taking place at almost every store that'll sell the tablet.

The company said in a press release that each store will have several devices to try out, while also hosting giveaways, contests, and concerts with famous singers in the United States, including Demi Lovato.

“To celebrate the arrival of the Surface Pro 3, all Microsoft retail stores in the U.S. and Canada will host launch day activities starting when stores open on Friday, June 20, including VIP white-glove pre-order pickup, giveaways, music, food and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to win dozens of giveaways and prizes, including a family vacation to Honolulu, Hawaii, for four,” the company says, while also adding that all stores will feature “summer-themed activities and giveaways.”

The Surface Pro 3 is Microsoft's biggest bet in the tablet industry and the company says that it could even replace your laptop, despite its pretty big price. The Pro 3 features an i3, i5, or i7 processor, 4 or 8 GB of RAM, a 12-inch screen, and up to 512 GB of storage space for the top-of-the-range model.
