The One Microsoft plan that’s supposed to push the Redmond tech giant towards devices and services continues, this time with changes concerning the company’s contracts with UK distributors.

The Channel is reporting that Microsoft has decided to part ways with two local partners, namely Avnet Technology Solutions and VIP Computers.

Microsoft hasn’t commented too much on this move, but the company explains that it continues its transition to devices and services, so some of its existing distributors might not be included in this plan.

Avnet, on the other hand, said that its focus “does not align with Microsoft’s strategy to be a devices-led organization.”

“Avnet is committed to supporting growth with its business partners through a focus on driving high value solutions. We will work closely with our business partners and Microsoft to ensure a smooth transition of the business,” a company representative said.
