14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft has updated a collection of resources designed to provide insight into Microsoft Operations Framework 4.0 to IT professionals. The refreshed version of the Microsoft Operations Framework 4.0 Quick Start Kit is now available for download via TechNet, offered free of charge.
” The MOF IT Pro Quick Start Kit provides an overview of MOF 4.0 and gives you the tools to start using it today. The kit includes presentations and a data sheet, information on MOF and compliance, updates on training and certification, ready-to-use graphics, and supporting materials,” the software giant stated.
According to Betsy Norton-Middaugh from the MOF Team, IT pros that will download the latest release of the MOF IT Pro Quick Start Kit will be able to leverage new materials and references to help them better leverage Microsoft Operations Framework 4.0.
The Microsoft Operations Framework 4.0 is one of the solution accelerators provided by the Redmond company to the IT pros community in an effort to streamline IT practices and activities.
The framework simplifies work related to planning, delivering, operating, and managing IT, as well as provide guidance around governance, risk, and compliance.
“The MOF IT Pro Quick Start Kit is complete with ready-to-use graphics and comprehensive presentation decks to allow IT pros to add the material to any presentation with ease,” Norton-Middaugh notes.
“Topics covered include an overview of MOF 4.0, information on MOF and compliance, training and certification updates, and review aids.

Norton-Middaugh even shared an email address on the company’s MOF and Service Management at Microsoft blog where IT professionals can provide feedback on this particular solution accelerator as well as its evolution.
