Fortune’s famous top brings the Redmond giant on a disappointing position

Microsoft isn’t quite the best company to work for these days, even though we all know that thousands of people worldwide can’t stop dreaming about getting a job at the software giant.

But Fortune’s latest 100 Best Companies to Work For top brings Google on the leading spot, while our beloved Microsoft is only the 86th entry on the list. Unfortunately for Microsoft, it lost no less than 9 positions in just a single year, so the company’s reorganization probably affected its performance recently.

What makes Microsoft so great? Fortune has the answer.

“The software giant covers 100% of health insurance premiums for employees and all their dependents,” it says.

Of course, working for Microsoft creates many more opportunities, so I bet that despite this top, many of you would still love to work for Bill Gates’ very own software empire.
