Formerly known as SkyDrive, Microsoft’s cloud client software is now called OneDrive, and the Mac App Store includes a new listing of the application to reflect the change.

The Mac version of OneDrive has been accepted in the Mac App Store today with its new name but lacking any changes whatsoever. That’s right, Microsoft actually had to resubmit the latest SkyDrive binary with the OneDrive dubbing to get Apple to update the listing.

OneDrive gives you access to your Microsoft cloud account right from the Finder. This includes photos, documents, music, and all your other important files.

Users can instantly add new files by just dragging them to the OneDrive folder, and they can even choose the folders they want to sync on their Mac.

Customers who are planning to download OneDrive 17.0.4031.0219 are told that “If you have previously installed the SkyDrive App, please remove the app from your applications folder.”
