BlackBerry 10 users will be pleased to know the Canadian handset maker has just released the Connect to Microsoft OneDrive application for their devices.

This means those who are already using the Android application can now uninstall it and grab the native application which will give them access to Microsoft’s cloud storage service.

Those who already sideloaded the Android app on their BlackBerry 10 devices will notice the native Microsoft OneDrive app is nicer and much smoother.

New users should know the application only provides users with the option to access their stored content on Microsoft’s OneDrive cloud service, as well as back up pictures, videos and documents.

However, you will need to create a Microsoft OneDrive account prior to using the BlackBerry application. Upon creating a new OneDrive account, users will receive 7GB of cloud storage for free.

According to BlackBerry, it’s recommended to update to the latest version of Connect to Microsoft OneDrive in order to benefit from the latest features of the application.

New users can now download Connect to Microsoft OneDrive for BlackBerry 10 via Softpedia free of charge. Keep in mind the application only works on devices powered by BlackBerry 10 operating system and up.
