Microsoft will officially unveil Windows 8.1 Preview tomorrow, but the company has recently posted the new Windows Server 2012 R2 on its MSDN portal, so members can have an early look at some of its features in just a few minutes.

One of the most important features included in Windows Server 2012 R2 is the addition of a Start button, the same one that’s going to be included in the future Windows 8.1 Preview.

As you can see in this picture published by Twitter user Robert McLaws, the Start button is always visible when working on the desktop, while in Metro mode, users are required to move the mouse cursor in the left lower corner to access it.

No other details have been provided, but expect full information to be unveiled in approximately 24 hours, as Microsoft is set to unveil the new Windows 8.1 Preview on June 26 at BUILD.
