Microsoft has officially opened its 36th retail store in the Dadeland Mall in Miami, thus continuing its strategy of bringing genuine products closer to buyers across the United States.

The new store measures 3,000 square feet (278 square meters) and provides access to all products and services wearing a Microsoft badge, such as Windows Phones, PCs, gaming consoles, software and operating systems.

“Pre-opening energy was high, with customers playing Dance Central 3 on Kinect for Xbox 360, taking the Bing It On challenge and learning about Windows 8 and Surface Pro. The grand opening weekend was capped off with a free concert on Miami Beach featuring Gym Class Heroes and Lupe Fiasco,” the company revealed.

Of course, many more Microsoft stores are projected to see daylight in the coming months, with sources familiar with the matter hinting that a European expansion is also possible.
