Just as promised, Microsoft launched a web-based version of Xbox Music that can be easily accessed with the help of any modern browser on the market, be it Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Chrome.

The service resembles the new Windows 8.1 Xbox Music app and provides access to users’ music libraries, while also offering filters to sort music by artists, albums, or songs.

Options to search for music online, create and manage playlists are also available, while synchronization tools can be then used to transfer them to Windows devices, such as PCs, tablets, and smartphones

The service is available only for Xbox Music Pass subscribers, but consumers are allowed to try it out for a maximum of 30 days at absolutely no cost. In addition, it seems to be available in the United States exclusively, but more countries will most likely get it in the coming weeks.
