Microsoft has recently introduced co-authoring options in Office Web Apps and since it wants to spur interesting in the new feature a little bit, the company has now released a video to show it in action.

The new co-authoring tool is now being demoed on Windows, iOS, and Android, as it allows users to work together in real-time on content editing in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

“We walk you through real-time co-authoring beyond pure text editing across Word, PowerPoint and at a cell level in Excel, as well as net new capabilities previously only available on the desktop. Watch too as we challenge a local New Orleans band, Remedy Krewe, to compose a blues song real-time as they work together both online and offline,” Microsoft said in the video description.

Microsoft officially rolled out Office co-authoring in early May and the feature is currently being rolled out to accounts across the world.
