Microsoft has recently announced that Office 365 Home Premium, which was launched approximately one year ago, has reached a record 3.5 million subscribers, which does nothing more than to confirm the success its productivity suite is experiencing these days.

Office 365 is one of Microsoft’s key products in the company’s transition towards a devices and services approach and is available in multiple flavors, including Home Premium, Small Business, Small Business Premium, and Midsize Business.

Pricing for Office 365 Home Premium starts at $9.99 / €7.30 a month ($99.99 / €73 a year) and allows up to five different installations on Windows, Mac, or smartphones.

In the meantime, Microsoft continues the transition to devices and services, with Office 365 expected to maintain its growth trend as the company goes further with the One Microsoft transformation plan started by Steve Ballmer in mid-2013.
