Microsoft Mobile Memory Mouse 8000 is a new peripheral from the Redmond company designed to integrate seamlessly with notebook computers. The Mobile Memory Mouse 8000 is nothing more than Microsoft's expression of its vision focused on mobile computing, and in this context, it is no wonder that the device is tailor fitted on the functionality of Windows Vista. However, the company placed strong emphasis on the product's 1 GB of Flash memory built into the transceiver, as the main characteristic. The mouse will actually help users free USB ports by
providing the extra storage, wireless capabilities and recharge functionality, all in the same location.

"With the continued rise in notebook sales, there is a huge demand for smart peripherals that help mobile users get their work done more efficiently, and the Mobile Memory Mouse 8000 combines three key tools into one stylish device," said Matt Barlow, worldwide director of marketing and partner development at Microsoft Hardware. "Over the past 25 years Microsoft Hardware has consistently raised the bar of innovation, and adding a gigabyte of memory to the mouse transceiver is truly a computing milestone. We've packed more memory into the transceiver than an entire computer had 25 years ago."

Microsoft Mobile Memory Mouse 8000 will go on sale in time for the holiday shopping season with a price tag just shy of $100. In terms of Vista integration, the mouse features a button reserved for the Flip3D functionality. The Redmond company added that the mouse is built to manage frequency interference, even at a distance of no more than 30 feet.

"The Mobile Memory Mouse 8000 features advanced wireless technology that allows notebook users to choose how they want to connect - with 2.4GHz wireless or Bluetooth. A switch on the bottom of the mouse enables Bluetooth notebook users to connect directly to their laptop without using the included transceiver. The 2.4GHz transceiver connects to all notebooks and provides the following three key benefits: confident connection with virtually no interference; wireless freedom and easy setup and use," Microsoft informed.
