Microsoft announced the availability of its latest version of the Money product line of financial management solutions. The Redmond company presented Microsoft Money Plus as the apex of no less than 17 years of experience in the field of delivering popular personal finance software. According to the company, the Money Plus brings to the table a set of new tools designed to streamline the process of financial management. Furthermore, Microsoft introduced a customizable version of Insights in Money Plus, designed to enable access to information via the desktop, even though the actual program remains closed.

"Everyone is busy these days, and sometimes you just need to know your account balance or check out whether you have enough extra cash to splurge on dinner, an amazing outfit or the latest 'must have' golf gadget," said Chris Jolley, group manager of the Financial Products Group at Microsoft. "Microsoft Money Plus is designed to provide quick information right when you need it with comprehensive tools, services and commentary to help make financial decisions with confidence. Microsoft Money Plus takes out the guesswork, so you're able to spend less time worrying about money and more time enjoying it."

The Redmond company explained the 'Plus' in the name as a correlation with the new standard offered by the latest version of Microsoft Money to personal finances. Money Plus is designed to integrate seamlessly with both Windows XP and Windows Vista. "Microsoft Money Plus Deluxe is available at an estimated price of $49.993 (U.S.). Microsoft Money Plus Premium is available at an estimated price of $79.992 (U.S.). Microsoft Money Plus Home & Business is available at an estimated price of $89.992 (U.S.) . Money Essentials is available for download online for $19.99," Microsoft revealed.

But just in case you have to be convinced on the purchase, Microsoft is also offering 60-day trial versions of Money Essentials, Money Plus Home & Business and Money Plus Deluxe.
