Microsoft customers interested in learning more on what System Center 2012 can deliver to them can now do so in a simple manner, courtesy of a guided tour that the company has just released.

In fact, the company released 14 guided labs that will present not only the main features of System Center 2012, but also what Microsoft private cloud is all about.

These labs were destined for enterprise customers who are interested in adopting Microsoft’s solutions so as to grow their businesses.

“Interested in learning first hand exactly how a Microsoft private cloud can help your business? Our new guided labs will show you how a Microsoft private cloud, built on System Center 2012 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, dramatically changes the way your business consumes IT services,” Microsoft explains.

Through these 14 user-friendly labs, Microsoft customers will access a step-by-step guided tour of a Microsoft private cloud without having to invest time as they would with typical labs.

“A Microsoft private cloud dramatically changes the way your business produces and consumes IT services by creating a layer of abstraction over your pooled IT resources. This allows your datacenter to offer true infrastructure service capability as well as optimally managed application services,” the company says.

The Redmond-based giant built its private cloud solutions on System Center and Windows Server, providing customers with a common management toolset for applications and services, and with improved powerful virtualization capabilities.

To access the aforementioned interactive labs, customers will have to register on this page. They will be provided with resources for further guidance via email and will be able to access these labs straight from the browser.

“If you are interested in a more comprehensive private cloud eval experience please visit our Private Cloud Evaluation Software page. There you will also find our new Microsoft Private Cloud Evaluation Guide. This 150 page free document walks you through the entire set-up and configuration process,” the company notes.
