Microsoft has recently retired the Windows 7 dynamic themes available on its website, but today the company announced that all photos that were part of these packs are now offered to users via new Windows 8 themes.

“Unfortunately, these dynamic themes are no longer available for download or being updated with new images, because we had to retire the RSS theme server that delivered the updates this past fall,” the company explained.

“Today I am happy to announce the launch of a new series of themes, in which we’ll bring you all the best images from the RSS themes, plus lots of new, great photography.”

This means that all those who already made the move to Microsoft’s modern operating system would be provided with new customization options, some of which will include wallpapers previously offered via dynamic themes.

Of course, all of these themes will also be listed on Softpedia, so keep an eye on our website to find out when new files are available for download.
