The Redmond-based company has decided to roll out the new Windows 8-inspired MSN website just two days ahead of the new operating system’s public debut.

Microsoft announced a few weeks ago that it would launch a new MSN website for Windows 8 users that brings it in line with the other Metro-inspired products. The company says that this new design is just right for the MSN page, as it’s easy to use and significantly faster.

The new MSN layout is only available to Internet Explorer 10 users, so only Windows 8 early adopters can get a taste of the website.

Internet Explorer 10 however will soon be released for Windows 7 consumers as well, but Microsoft will most likely make the new design accessible from all browsers and platforms after Windows 8’s debut on Friday.

As you can see right now, the MSN appearance is indeed heavily inspired from Windows 8 and uses a design that reminds us of the live tiles that show up in the new operating system every time you launch the Start Screen.

It really seems to move faster than the standard version, which is still up and running for users of other platforms and browsers.

“The new MSN is a full-screen experience that is clean, simple and built for touch. Whether you’re reading daily headlines or catching up on the latest gossip, the experience is intuitive and consistent. The content flows from the homepage to channels without interrupting the visual layout, and you’ll know what stories are most important, just by viewing the size of the story tile,” Microsoft said in a blog post in early October.
