Microsoft promised to make more units of the Surface Pro with 128GB tablet available by Saturday, but the company actually launched a new pre-order program for the recently released device.

Basically, consumers are now allowed to place an order for the Surface Pro with 128GB of storage space in order to receive it in early March, as it’s mentioned on the official Microsoft website.

While that may disappoint many users who waited for the device to become available, Microsoft seems to have serious problems in dealing with the Surface Pro shortage, as the device recorded “amazing” demand ever since it was launched.

The only way to get your hands on a Surface Pro right now is to purchase the 64GB model that continues to be available, not only at Microsoft’s stores, but also at partners across the US and Canada.
