Microsoft yesterday launched the Surface Pro in China, the first market to get the device after Canada and the United States.

In addition, the Redmond-based technology giant also introduced a so-called Surface Chinese version of the tablet that comes with the standard version of Windows 8 and with either 64 GB or 128 GB of storage space.

What’s more, it features a full version of Office 2013 Home and Student, while the Surface Pro is only delivered with a 30-day trial of Office 365 Home Premium.

Chinese users who wish to purchase the Pro model have only one option, as the company only brought the 128 GB version in the country, most likely because of the aforementioned Surface Chinese flavor.

Several new countries are expected to receive the Surface Pro in the coming months, including the United Kingdom, Germany and France.
