Microsoft has just released what it calls “an exclusive video destination on MSN,” a brand new service that provides access to both original and aggregated content.

Codenamed StageDoor, the new service packs a total of nine different channels, all of which are aimed at both visitors and advertisers.

“With “StageDoor,” advertisers can involve their brand directly in the story and connect more deeply with their target consumer. Every channel provides sponsorship opportunities that can range from custom product placements to segment branding,” Microsoft explained.

Microsoft promises to focus on high-quality content exclusively, so the clips you will see on the new page should basically be “trust, brand-safe video content” covering a large number of topics and subjects.

More details on the StageDoor service are expected to be provided in the coming weeks, but have a look at this clip and tell us what you think in the comment box after the jump.
