If you love the Surface Pro 3 but still find it too expensive for your budget, then this new contest should be really exciting news for you.

The so-called Lessons to Life Contest calls for Office Mix users to create PowerPoint presentations and share them on OfficeMix.com, with Microsoft then selecting a total of 15 finalists to reward them with Surface Pro 3 tablets.

The company is only tracking presentations in Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies categories, with a maximum limit of 10 minutes for each file.

“We’ll select 15 finalists based on how creative they are, how originally they use Office Mix, the overall quality of the mix, and the mix’s applicability to learning. We’ll then open them up to voting by the community starting October 13th. The Grand Prize winner will win 15 Surface Pro 3 devices to donate to a K-12 school, and five lucky First Prize winners will each win one Surface Pro 3 to donate. All the prizes go to the schools designated by the winners,” the company says.

You can publish a maximum of 5 presentations every day, but the contest is restricted only to those living in the United States.

The Surface Pro 3 is Microsoft’s most advanced tablet to date and comes with a 12-inch screen, powerful Intel Core i3 to i7 processors, up to 512 GB of storage space, and a digital pen for easy drawing and writing.
