It looks like Microsoft continues to launch feature phones, despite the fact that the Redmond-based company has little experience on this market.

The next handset to make its debut very soon is called Nokia 130 and it’s one of the cheapest mobile phones available on the market. According to Microsoft, Nokia 130 will go on sale this quarter for only €19 (25) outright.

The handset will be available in two variants: Nokia 130 and Nokia 130 Dual SIM. It’s also worth mentioning that both models will be available in multiple color options, including black, white and red.

Advertised as “the most affordable mobile phone with video and music player,” Nokia 130 and 130 Dual SIM are aimed at those who need high battery autonomy and can’t afford or simply don’t consider the acquisition of a smartphone yet.

As mentioned earlier, Nokia 130 comes packed with built-in video player, MP3 player, as well as FM Radio function. The dual-SIM version of the cheap handset will only be available in emerging markets, while the single-SIM model is likely to go on sale in well-established markets.

Both versions of the Nokia 130 sport 1.8-inch standard displays supporting 160 x 128 pixels resolution. They are also powered by Series 30+ OS and come equipped with Bluetooth 3.0, allowing users to take advantage of the innovative SLAM capability which allows users to share multimedia content between phones with Bluetooth.

Aside from that, the Nokia 130 and the 130 Dual SIM offer 2G (EDGE) connectivity, so owners will also be able to browse the Internet while on the move.

The phones probably come with a very low amount of storage, but Microsoft confirmed both handsets pack microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Curiously, they come with LED flash that can only be used as flashlight, as Nokia 130 and 130 Dual SIM feature phones do not feature rear-facing camera so there’s no way that you can take any pictures with either of them.

Last but not least, the Nokia 130 and 130 Dual SIM are powered by a 1020 mAh battery, which is rated by the manufacturer for up to 13 hours of talk time or up to 36 days (26 days for dual-SIM variant) of standby time.

Microsoft also confirmed that the handsets offers up to 46 hours of music playback time or up to 16 hours of watching movies. No word on when exactly they will go on sale, so stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
