Earlier this month, when Microsoft launched the second-generation Surface tablet, it also debuted the Arc Touch Mouse Surface Edition specifically aimed at customers purchasing the new device.

Now that Windows 8.1 is also available for download, it has released a dedicated app that gives owners of the mouse the possibility to configure the device from the Modern UI.

Basically, the so-called Arc Touch Mouse Surface Edition Settings comes with options to enable or disable vibration and sound, flick and tap to page up or page down.

It only works on Windows 8.1 and offers support for both desktop computers and tablets.

“Arc Touch Mouse Surface Edition is a mouse designed for Surface tablets. Use its Settings app to control the functions of its touch strip,” Microsoft briefly said in the description of the app.
