Before getting into any details, yes, there actually is an Office Store out there. Even though only a few people were using it, the Office Store really comes in handy to those looking to enhance their Office experience, and thanks to a new UI update today, everything should be even easier.

Microsoft has rolled out today a new facelift for the Office Store, which displays the top and latest app on the homepage based on what Microsoft calls “a new robust ranking service that can showcase a unique set of apps every day.”

At this point, the Office Store comprises more than 1,000 apps, so Microsoft has made it available in three new languages, namely Dutch, Italian, and Russian, while three more are scheduled to be released next month, including Portuguese and two versions of Chinese.

“With these new languages, we’ll gain fully localized apps and storefronts for Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, and Russia, with localized apps and storefronts for Brazil, China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong SAR to follow soon after. Full rollout will give us apps in 10 languages and 31localized storefronts in all! In the coming months we’ll add localized storefronts for many other markets where Office is sold,” the company said.

Last but not least, Microsoft has announced that Office Store apps are going to be displayed in the Pinpoin portal which, according to its very own statistics, has 6.3 million visitors and generates 1.2 million partner referrals. Of course, this is supposed to help developers get more users for their apps and monetize their growing popularity.
