Microsoft has just introduced a new update for the Snapshot column of its Bing search engine, providing users with more information on specific search queries.

From now on, Snapshot will also display social information from Facebook, Twitter and Klout for celebrities, so searching for someone’s name might return details such as work experience and birth date.

In addition, the company has introduced a new related search option that shows what other “People also searched for,” giving you the option to initiate a similar search with just a click.

“When searching for Mt. Everest you’ll see things like: a short description, elevation, date of first ascent, and geographic location. Bing will also show related people and searches, climbers in this case,” the Bing team explained in a blog post.

Keep in mind that these new options are currently available for United States-based users, but the company should roll them out globally anytime soon.
