Microsoft answers "Si" to delivering technology resources to the Hispanic community in the U.S. The United States Hispanic Chambers of Commerce conference in Puerto Rico was the stage where the Redmond company announced the availability of a collection of resources addressing Hispanic small-business owners. The series of tools that Microsoft has dedicated to the Hispanic community in the U.S. includes Office Spanish Language Pack, Office Accounting, Office Live and the Small Business Center. Additionally, Microsoft will also be delivering MSN Latino Business Guide currently planned for launch in October.

"Microsoft believes in empowering small-business owners by providing the resources and technology solutions that will make them succeed every day," revealed Jos? Pi?ero, director of multicultural marketing for Microsoft. "Hispanic small businesses need specific tools to help them succeed. They now have a golden opportunity to look to technology to help them focus their time to drive business forward in an environment that is security-enhanced, familiar and easy to use."

Microsoft promised to highlight and showcase demos and tutorials of Small Business Center, Office Live, Office Accounting and MSN Latino at the conference in order to catalyze the adoption of the solutions by the Hispanic business community. The Redmond company will first and foremost deliver the Office Spanish Language Pack as a solution designed to address multilingual professionals.

Office Accounting 2007 will serve to centralize all the online payment services a business might be using from eBay to online banking. Office Live will deliver businesses with the ability to create an online presence at virtually no cost. And on top of this, the Redmond company will provide MSN Latino and the Small Business Center.

"Our commitment to offering resources specifically for small-business owners is steadfast," Pi?ero said. "We're continuously working to provide technology that's easy to use and tools to help them get the most out of their software and drive their business forward, especially if that means having the option to use it in their preferred language."
