It all resumes to downloading content. And for that, you must pay.

Microsoft Senior Program Manager, Katie Stone Perez, told the press in a self-sponsored session, what the company making the Xbox 360 is looking for in developing new titles for Xbox Live Arcade: worldwide appeal, cooperative play, multiplayer features, visual redesigns for ports, a family-friendly design and of course, paid downloadable content.

We don't know exactly how Microsoft finds these points the ones definitely to be touched, but a simple gamer survey could have easily done the job for them. Those at Microsoft realized that pretty much every gamer is into pick-up-and-play kind of games so this is one of the things they're trying to patch in their service. Handheld games are also popular among gamers of all categories and Nintendo DS-like titles will probably hit XBLA as well. But still, how about actually asking gamers?

All six features pointed out hit just the right spots no doubt about it, but have you ever heard an Xbox 360 user screaming: " paid downloadable content, we want paid downloadable content." It's obviously something that the company sees profitable and not only what the public wants. Microsoft has great services to offer through XBLA, but it seems that everything an Xbox 360 user will do is emphasize the last feature: "paid downloadable content."
