But promises great stuff

Believe it of not but Microsoft is cooking some "great stuff" for Windows Live. Now, the term could not have been more general and abstract, but the fact of the matter is that it comprises all the information the Redmond company is willing to share about the future of its cloud suite of products and services. As is the case with the forthcoming versions of the Windows client and server operating system, Microsoft is muting all details related to the direction in which Windows Live will go next.

If you are expecting new features, capabilities, functionality, products and services by all means do postpone holding your breath for as long as possible. When that might be? Well a member of the Windows Live team answered this question with another term, just as abstract as "stuff." "As a team we shall continue the great work on new stuff. We know you all are eager to know the details! Unfortunately it's not yet ready to be disclosed. But stay tuned to hear back from us sooooon:-)." While its is not my place to dispute the smiley at the end, the bottom line is that Microsoft will deliver a whole bunch of great soon, pretty soon, for Windows Live. Right.. now I feel better, I was in the dark for a couple of minutes there, but now its all clear. What? Stuff! When? Soon! Yep, crystal clear!

Why is Microsoft so opened about sharing information about the future of Windows Live... Well, just because of one man. You might have heard of him: Steven codename Translucency Sinofsky. According to his official profile: "Steven Sinofsky is the senior vice president for the Windows and Windows Live Engineering Group - the user experience of Microsoft Windows and Windows Live services. The group is responsible for the development of Windows Vista technologies, including user interface, device support, graphics and media as well as Microsoft Internet Explorer; the group delivers Windows Live services experiences, including Windows Live Hotmail, Windows Live Messenger, Windows Live Spaces and a rapidly growing list of user-centric Internet services, striving to build the most valued and trusted online community."
