Microsoft has transformed Office Ultimate 2007 into the ultimate steal. Come August 20, 2008, students from various markets around the world will be able to take advantage of a massive price discount for the Ultimate SKU of the Office 2007 System. In this context, Office Ultimate 2007 licenses will be made available for just $59.95 per item offering students: Access 2007; Accounting Express 2007; Excel 2007; InfoPath 2007; Groove 2007; OneNote 2007; Outlook 2007 with Business Contact Manager; PowerPoint 2007; Publisher 2007 and Word 2007. Purchases are limited to one copy of Office Ultimate 2007 through TheUltimateSteal per student, and the license is not transferable, Microsoft informed.

"This special discount program for Microsoft Office is good only to eligible university and college students who possess a valid email address at an educational institution. The following conditions serve to define student eligibility for this discount Microsoft Office Promotion: Individual must possess a valid e-mail address at a U.S. educational institution which contains the domain suffix .edu; and individual must be a student at a U.S. college or university educational institution and must be actively enrolled in at least 0.5 course credit and be able to provide proof of college enrollment upon request," Microsoft revealed.

In addition to the United States, students in Canada, France, Italy, Spain, U.K., and Australia will also be able to enjoy the offering, although the prices are bound to vary due to conversion in their local currency. Students are encouraged to download a free copy of Office 2007 from the trial versions made available by Microsoft, then acquire a license through TheUltimateSteal.

"Eligible university and college students may have free access to Microsoft Office 2007 Trial for a limited amount of time. Each trial provides 25 application launches (each launch of an individual Office Ultimate application is counted as one launch) before the software goes into reduced functionality mode; and the opportunity to purchase [TheUltimateSteal] perpetual license for the Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007 software," Microsoft added.
