Microsoft has announced a new initiative that is meant to increase the focus on seamless collaboration. In this context, it has partnered with Infosys Technologies on several strategic efforts. The expansion of Microsoft and the relationship with Infosys are meant to expand the services offered to the Redmond company. Aspects of the new strategic initiatives of the two companies involve the introduction of a new dedicated vendor offshore facility, as well as a Microsoft Dynamics Concept Center.

"Together with Infosys we are creating technology solutions that enable the businesses of our customers and stakeholders to be People Ready. At Microsoft, we firmly believe that the talented people we engage with are our fundamental and most important asset, helping us accelerate the transformation and growth of our business. I expect this relationship to grow deeper and broader with time. The infrastructure and support that Infosys has dedicated to Microsoft represents its commitment to our continued success," revealed Moorthy Uppaluri, CEO of Microsoft IT-Global.

In the end, the overall People Ready Microsoft strategy comes down to nothing more than making the best out of the human resources available. Infosys is a long lasting Microsoft partner, having debuted its collaboration with the Redmond company back in 1998, and offering a wide gamma of services including consulting, development and support. And by building on that tradition of partnership, Infosys has become the architect of the new 400-seat capacity vendor offshore facility, as well as the developers of the Microsoft Dynamics Concept Center, built around the Redmond company's line of business solutions.

"The Infosys and Microsoft relationship is a shining example of how a strong collaboration may enhance a client's competitive advantage in the marketplace. Infosys is committed to combining its industry solutions and services and extending the global delivery model we pioneered to enable Microsoft to deliver world-class software and customer experience in the flat world," explained Anand Swaminathan, associate vice president, High-Tech & Manufacturing, Infosys.
