Windows 8 is yet to be launched, but the Redmond-based software firm is already working on the next Windows iteration, which is reportedly called “Blue.”

As you probably know by now, Microsoft will roll out the new Windows 8 next month on October 26, but according to a post on WinUnleaked.info, company employees have already been assigned the task of developing Windows “Blue.”

In fact, the Windows development division has been split up into two different groups, one that will oversee the Windows 8 development and another one that is supposed to work on the “Blue” version.

Obviously, Microsoft hasn't commented on the matter, but it appears that the team responsible for Windows Blue has already worked on the project for a month or so, which means that some very interesting screenshots, or at least information, may be released in the near future.
